Fostering Independence
Dedicated to Improving the Lives of All Individuals Regardless of Their Abilities
Founder/CEO
My name is Abdullah Saleem, and let me take you back to 1987, a pivotal year in my life. It was during my time at Lemoyne Owen College in Memphis, TN, while at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, that where I was introduced to the world of individuals with disabilities.
From that moment, a flame was ignited within me – a passion so profound that it has fueled every step of my journey since. As I continued my career in acute care nursing, I found myself drawn more and more to the noble cause of supporting those with disabilities.
In 2009, I made a life-altering decision to devote myself entirely to this calling. It was a leap of faith, but one that I took with unwavering conviction and determination.
Recognizing the pressing need for dedicated providers in this field, I resolved to become a 245D licensed provider myself. And so, in late 2015, I embarked on a personal crusade to champion the rights and independence of all individuals with disabilities. This is not just a career path for me – it's a calling, a mission, a deeply ingrained part of who I am.
